     Meals are always a BIG deal when growing up in an Italian household.  No matter the occasion, it is always important to have an abundance of food. Life revolves around food and if you ask any Italian grandmother, many problems can be solved with food. "Mangia, Mangia" is a commonly used expression which is a signal to STOP talking and START eating.  The beauty of Italian cuisine is that there is always something for everyone.  You'll find meat dishes, vegetarian dishes, spicy dishes, creamy dishes, seafood dishes etc. etc. It is understandable why Italian food ranks amongst the most popular in the world.  
     Recently, a few close family friends asked for a special request at our Richmond Hill location.  Their family was visiting from the Middle East and they specifically requested a good, Italian meal prior to them leaving.  The only condition for them, however, was that halal meat would be used as they were observant Muslims.  Fortunately, our long-time butcher was able to quickly and easily get us halal-certified meat.  Once word got out that we were able to offer authentic Italian dishes with Halal meats, more requests starting coming in.
     We are now pleased to offer, at our Richmond Hill location, Halal beef and chicken, as an option to your dishes.  Some of our most popular dishes can now be ordered in using Halal meats:

  • Pizza (our mozzarella cheese is halal) and we offer halal beef pepperoni & chicken
  • Bolognese (meat sauce) using halal meat
  • Meatballs made with halal ground beef
  • Veal Parmigiana & Chicken Parmigiana
We make all our dishes fresh, to order.  If you don't see something you like, simply let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate.  We offer takeout, dine in and delivery options in the Richmond Hill area as well as catering across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).  When ordering, simply ask for the halal option.
